About Radio Huns
Radio Huns, the voice of South Asian community in Ottawa since 2001, is the longest running South Asian radio program in North America. Renamed in tribute to its founder Hunsdeep “Huns” Singh Rangar on Aug. 1, 2020 from Mirch Masala Radio, it continues his legacy of keeping the community vibrant and well-informed, whilst promoting talent, encouraging entrepreneurship and preserving its cultural and music roots.

Radio Huns is a community-focused South Asian media platform dedicated to informing, connecting, and celebrating the South Asian community through radio and digital storytelling. It highlights local events, promotes talent and entrepreneurship, preserves cultural and musical roots, and amplifies voices that strengthen community identity and engagement.
