  • Additional experience selling solutions such as Managed Services Cloud Services External Storage Virtual Tape Libraries and IBM i Security.
  • Experience with IBM Global Financing.

What the job involves

  • Generate revenue by selling new IBM related managed and cloud services and hardware to current and prospective customers.
  • Maintain an up-to-date understanding of the IBM Platform and Service Express solutions.
  • Consult with customers to sell solutions related to the management of their IBM infrastructure.
  • Manage an effective sales process aligned to the Service Express ASCEND Core methodology.
  • Act upon sales leads provided by partner departments and ensure services sold are delivered to specifications.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support customer needs across the full spectrum of services.
  • Develop additional business opportunities for other sales teams within Service Express.
  • Meet or exceed the performance standards set by the company.
  • Independently drive sales revenue to attain and exceed targets while making sound business decisions.
  • Utilize Salesforce to manage a pipeline of Opportunities and keep customer information up to date.
