• 4+ years of relevant professional experience
• CPA required (consideration for near-term candidates)
• Solid understanding of US GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, conditional statements, pivot tables)
• Experience or interest in developing SQL skills

What the job involves

• Prepare and review workpapers, journal entries, and reconciliations for key accounts in Loans and Capital Markets
• Conduct flux analyses and align on business drivers with cross-functional partners
• Prepare schedules for Quarterly SEC reporting and support internal and external audit requirements
• Review current procedures and seek ways to improve processes for timely monthly close, accuracy, and operational efficiency
• Partner with cross-functional teams to provide accounting requirements on product changes and incorporate new transactions into the GL
• Contribute to reconciliation projects by collaborating with engineering and Financial Platform teams
• Solve challenges and communicate opportunities for process improvements and scalable solutions
