Requirements

  • 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a startup or fintech environment
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks, Xero, or equivalent accounting software
  • Strong grasp of GAAP and general accounting principles

  • Comfortable operating independently in a fast-moving environment with limited guidance

Day to day

  • Own day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Run month-end and year-end close processes accurately and on time.
  • Manage bank and credit card reconciliations across multiple accounts and prepare financial reporting for leadership review.
