Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or related field
  • Required
  • 5+ years progressive accounting experience
  • 2+ years supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full-cycle accounting
  • Expertise in general ledger management financial reporting reconciliations and month-end close
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Experience with NetSuite or comparable ERP systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Demonstrated ownership accountability and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
  • Willingness to perform assigned tasks in support of firm growth

Day to day

  • Own the general ledger end to end with accuracy and strong accountability
  • Lead monthly and year-end close processes while preparing reconciliations and financial statements
  • Coach a small accounting team and partner across departments to improve controls systems and reporting
  • Support audits special projects and leadership decisions with clear commentary and actionable insights
