Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- At least 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting with 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in GAAP with the ability to manage various accounting functions.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial planning and analysis.
- Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and excellent communication abilities.
Day to day
- Supervise General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) staff mentoring them for growth.
- Responsible for the monthly-close activities and preparation of financial statements.
- Analyze financial performance including expenses operations and profitability to guide business decisions.
- Assist in developing and managing budgets providing rolling forecasts and creating ad-hoc reporting metrics.
