Requirements

  • 6+ years of accounting experience with leveling adjusted based on candidate experience
  • Experience owning monthly close and general accounting processes in a multi-entity environment
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team is a plus
  • Track record of improving accounting processes systems and controls in a growing company
  • Experience with audits and working with external auditors
  • CPA or public accounting background is a plus

Day to day

  • Own the monthly close and monthly consolidation across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial statement preparation and reliable reporting
  • Manage non-revenue accounting areas including operating expenses accruals prepaid expenses fixed assets payroll accounting and equity accounting
  • Lead detailed flux and variance analysis identify anomalies and drive improvements to processes systems and controls that scale with growth
  • Lead and develop a team of 3 while partnering with Finance external advisors and leadership on audits technical accounting and corporate tax matters
