Requirements
- BA/BS in Accounting Finance strongly preferred
- 3-4 years relevant accounting purchasing or accounts payable experience
- Understanding of accrual accounting concepts
- Strong experience with automated accounts payable and purchasing systems
- Oracle experience a plus
- Strong experience with Excel and Word
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong organization time management and task prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and resolve problems
- Strong customer service and support skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and shift priorities during a compressed timeframe

Day to day
- Assist with month end and quarter end close as a part time corporate accountant supporting the Finance team.
- Gather prepare test and maintain documentation for monthly accruals through the Service PO Accrual Process and ensure entries are properly substantiated.
- Interpret GAAP requirements partner with Requestor and Financial Analyst communities resolve processing errors and improve desk procedures and process flows to strengthen controls and efficiency.
