Who you are

• A completed degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international environment
• In-depth knowledge of IFRS, as well as a solid understanding of UK tax legislation (VAT, corporate taxation)
• Excellent analytical skills, strong numerical aptitude, and attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial software (Workday) and advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, are required

What the job involves

• Preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable legal requirements and internal guidelines (IFRS)
• Monitoring liquidity, managing cash flows, and ensuring optimal utilization of financial resources
• Implementation and monitoring of cost control measures to ensure budget adherence
• Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and timely submission of tax returns
• Conducting financial analyses to support management in strategic decision-making
• Coordination of internal and external audits and ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations
• Leading and developing the finance team (2-3 employees), fostering a positive and productive work environment
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and implementation of financial strategies
