What the job involves
- Assist Controller and Senior Staff Accountant in ensuring integrity of financials, enforcing internal controls, and supporting operational objectives
- Identify and clarify unusual or questionable invoice items or prices
- Capture invoice data with appropriate GL coding
- Assemble, review, and verify invoices and ACH/check requests
- Verify expense reports and reconcile payment records
- Correspond with vendors regarding billing and payments
- Prepare reports, month end accruals, and journal entries
- Assist with audits and research transactions
