Who you are

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Administration or equivalent industry experience
  • 10+ years working in telecommunications
  • 3+ years of Product Line Management experience
  • Ability to take broad direction and drive tasks to closure
  • High-level knowledge of the technologies (Layer 0-3) and products (6500, Routing and Switching, MCP) that Ciena provides
  • Understanding of how to build and review commercial deal sheets and P&Ls, as well as the financials of the larger business.
  • Strong collaboration skills with product management, engineering, sales, and customers.
  • Understanding of service provider core network and business models
  • Effective time management skills to handle competing priorities
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time
  • Experience delivering services to customers

  • Enabling sales and operations teams to maximize opportunities in the maintenance space.
  • Help drive process and sales enablement, including improving quoting operations and processes in the region.
