  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Equivalent years of job-related industry experience
  • 10+ years of working in telecommunications
  • 3+ years of Product Line Management experience
  • Ability to take broad direction and drive tasks to closure
  • Sense of urgency and sensitivity to customer timelines
  • Strong collaboration skills with product management, engineering, sales, and customers
  • Strategic, critical, and creative thinking skills
  • Strong business sense
  • Ability to lead, craft, and work within cross-functional team environments
  • Understanding of market trends
  • Ability to build a profitable business around market trends
  • Knowledge of service provider core network and business models
  • Ability to quickly understand customer requirements
  • Effective time management skills
  • Willingness to accommodate time zone differences
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%
  • Experience delivering services to customers



What the job involves

  • You will be responsible for evangelizing Ciena's maintenance services globally
  • Enabling sales and operations teams to maximize opportunities
  • Driving process and sales enablement, including improving quoting operations and processes in EMEA
  • Contributing to a team of global stakeholders
  • Supporting stakeholders globally
