Requirements

  • Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of software optimization for AI
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with scripting (e.g., Python) and high-performance programming (e.g., C++)
  • 3+ years experience in computer architecture

Nice to have

  • Distributed and parallel programming experience
  • Coding in alternative architectures (e.g., GPUs, FPGAs)
  • Publications in systems research, computer architecture, hardware and AI software optimization

Day to day

  • Responsible for building new software and hardware systems for machine learning and AI research
  • Collaborate with BCL researchers and other Intel teams to leverage new Intel architectures
  • Develop production-ready, optimized code, proof-of-concept experiments and prototypes
