Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in analog mixed-signal layout design and 3+ years on advanced nodes including FinFET
- Experience with analog mixed-signal IP such as SERDES PHY transmitter and PLL
- Experience leading complex layout macros from floorplan analysis to physical design verification
- Proficiency in CAD flows and tools for analog mixed-signal layout design
- Understanding of well-matched low noise and low power analog blocks
- Knowledge of IR drop RC delay electro-migration and coupling capacitance issues
- Experience with CALIBRE DRC ERC LVS reports
- Proficiency with CADENCE or MENTOR GRAPHICS layout tools
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with remote teams
Nice to have
- High proficiency in CALIBRE tools
- Experience with FinFET technologies
- Expertise in DFM methodologies
- Understanding of heating systems
Day to day
- Completing complex layout for analog/mixed-signal circuits in deep submicron CMOS technologies
- Collaborating with circuit designers or Layout-Leads to plan schedule and negotiate layout trade-offs
- Reviewing and analyzing floorplans and complex circuits
- Running design verification tools on AMS blocks
- Interpreting LVS DRC and ERC reports for layout completion
- Utilizing CAD tools to deliver robust layouts meeting matching performance area and power requirements
