Requirements

  • Emcee or public performance experience and skills
  • Strong reading and public speaking skills
  • Audio playback experience or knowledge of mixing live audio on analog consoles is a plus
  • Capable of providing smooth, consistent technical performance
  • Strong multitasking and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Willingness to follow company policies and procedures
  • Capacity to travel extensively and share hotel accommodations
  • Ability to work long hours in a dynamic environment
  • Background, drug, and alcohol screening required

Day to day

  • Engage audience with entertaining dialog and professional representation as the voice of Spotlight
  • Make announcements and manage playback music for performances
  • Communicate schedule changes and PSAs to keep attendees informed
  • Collaborate with Stage Manager and Technical Assistant for event logistics
  • Manage client music files for optimal performance setup and functionality of audio equipment
