Who you are

• Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, with a strong understanding of web technologies (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
• Understanding of networking protocols and how APIs interact within various network environments
• Proven experience in reverse engineering web APIs, including familiarity with tools like Burp Suite, Postman, or Fiddler
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively document findings and collaborate with development teams

What the job involves

• Assist in reverse engineering various APIs to retrieve data related to user accounts, including plan details, recurring expenses, payment methods, and usage data
• Enable actions such as canceling services, updating account and payment information, and other related account management tasks
• Research, identify, and gain access to public APIs, focusing on understanding their structures, endpoints, and available data without relying on screen scraping techniques
• Write robust, scalable code to extract relevant data from public APIs and accurately transform it into a set of common data models and structures
• Work closely with engineers to integrate code into broader applications, ensuring seamless interoperability
