Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in computer aided design or bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
  • 3+ years in electric utilities switchgears substation design or renewable energy
  • Preference for experience in substation design
  • Strong preference for experience with protection and control design
  • 3+ years using CAE or CAD tools for electrical panel or substation design
  • Experience with system integration manufacturing and electrical utilities preferred
  • IT and application skills including network solutions Windows Server Windows OS and Microsoft Office
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English
  • Strong communication networking and interpersonal skills
  • Strong business acumen with ability to influence at various levels of the organization
  • Strong team worker with interfaces to regional sales and vertical market management
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship
  • Must reside in the United States
  • Willing to travel approximately 50%

Day to day

  • Create electrical power system designs in Eplan based on customer specifications and project needs
  • Implement Eplan software at customer sites and guide engineering teams through onboarding and adoption
  • Provide virtual and onsite coaching demonstrations presentations and consultations to support pre-sales and customer development
