Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or equivalent
- Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in executing ITIL-aligned service management processes
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Experience in managing application support and documentation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently
- Participation in on-call rotation for 24x7 critical application support
Day to day
- The Application Support Analyst provides advanced support for clinical and business applications.
- Respond to support requests and incidents within SLAs, ensuring high-level customer service and communication.
- Manage application and team documentation through proper document management lifecycles and maintain relationships with software vendors.
- Plan and execute application upgrades, achieve necessary certifications, and participate in smaller analyst-led projects.
- Gain proficiency in clinical and business workflows, develop and maintain architecture documentation, and participate in the entire application lifecycle, including implementations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
- Work independently or request help when needed, escalate appropriately after due diligence.
