Who you are
Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Healthcare Informatics, Computer Sciences, or related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years’ experience in healthcare IT or equivalent
Proven analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Experience in executing ITIL-aligned service management processes
Excellent communication and customer service abilities
Experience in managing application support and documentation
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and independently
Participation in on-call rotation for 24x7 critical application support
What the job involves
The Application Support Analyst provides advanced support for clinical and business applications.
Respond to support requests and incidents within SLAs, ensuring high-level customer service and communication.
Manage application and team documentation through proper document management lifecycles and maintain relationships with software vendors.
Plan and execute application upgrades, achieve necessary certifications, and participate in smaller analyst-led projects.
Gain proficiency in clinical and business workflows, develop and maintain architecture documentation, and participate in the entire application lifecycle, including implementations, upgrades, and decommissioning.
Work independently or request help when needed, escalate appropriately after due diligence.
