Requirements
- Master or Ph.D. in Material Science, Physics, Chemistry, or EE with AFM experience.
- Knowledge or experience in semiconductor fabrication industry preferred.
- CMP/Etch process experience is a plus.
- 0-2 years of experience in relevant fields preferred.
- Technical background in AFM and/or other surface characterization techniques like ellipsometry, white light interferometry, and OCD preferred.
- Good knowledge in statistics and data analysis.
- Experience in metrology preferred.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in technical writing.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal relationship skills.

- Knowledge of Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) and associated applications highly desired.
- Knowledge of semiconductor process flow/metrology solutions and associated applications highly desired.
- Prior experience working in a semiconductor fab as an employee or vendor.

Day to day
- Provides technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
- Assists customers with assessing potential applications and preparing detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer applications/solutions.
- Builds applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demos for clients.
- Provides follow-up support to sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.
- Works on complex problems requiring in-depth data analysis of various factors.
- Develops a strong understanding of competitive technologies and products in the AFM product line.
- Maintains and increases AFM product usage.
- Creates, develops, and continuously improves the customer support and applications knowledge database.
