Requirements
- J.D. and active U.S. bar admission
- 12+ years of legal experience with top law firm and in-house experience
- Significant experience advising multinational organizations on employment law across multiple countries
- Strong background supporting globally mobile workforces including international assignments relocations and cross-border employment issues
- Experience helping organizations expand into new international jurisdictions
- Extensive experience drafting and negotiating employment-related agreements and counseling HR and business leaders on day-to-day employment matters
- Experience managing employment litigation workplace investigations and government agency matters
- Comfortable working independently in a lean legal department
- Strong business judgment and practical problem-solving skills

Day to day
- Serve as the lead legal advisor on global employment law and workforce matters across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advise business leaders and HR on hiring terminations employee relations accommodations leave management wage and hour compliance workplace investigations and performance management.
- Draft review and negotiate employment and consulting agreements separation agreements confidentiality and invention assignment agreements offer letters and related workforce documentation.
- Develop employment policies employee handbooks compliance programs training materials and scalable legal processes to support international growth.
- Partner with HR Finance Tax Equity Administration and external advisors while managing litigation investigations agency matters and outside counsel across regions.
