Requirements
- Strong business judgment and practical solutions-oriented legal advice
- Broad experience in corporate commercial operational regulatory employment privacy compliance and technology law
- Intellectual curiosity and ability to learn new legal and business areas quickly
- Low-ego execution-oriented mindset with willingness to handle strategic and day-to-day work
- Strong communication skills translating complex legal concepts into business-friendly guidance
- Comfort in a fast-paced high-growth highly collaborative environment with globally distributed teams
- J.D. and active membership in at least one state bar with ability to practice in-house in California
- 10+ years of legal experience ideally including law firm and in-house experience
- Prior experience supporting high-growth technology or AI-driven companies strongly preferred

Day to day
- Partner closely with Product Engineering Design AI Research and Security teams across the product lifecycle
- Provide practical legal guidance on the design development launch and iteration of AI-powered products and features
- Lead privacy AI governance and regulatory strategy while helping teams move quickly and manage risk thoughtfully
- Drive legal workstreams for product launches and build scalable review processes templates and workflows
- Support commercial corporate intellectual property and operational matters as a trusted business partner
