Requirements
- Demonstrable AE/AP knowledge with relevant operation and maintenance experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical safety and risk management legislation and ISO standards
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO45001 with strong procedural technical and HSE compliance
- Ability to interpret and provide authoritative advice on technical management issues
- Experience advising businesses on good practice technical management
- Excellent collaboration skills with internal external customers regulators and suppliers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Word Excel Project PowerPoint Smartsheets and Visio
- Minimum HND in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- HV/LV AP and AE qualifications
- Recognised safety qualification or willingness to obtain
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence

Day to day
- Provide expert technical assurance support across people policy and process activities
- Develop and audit safe systems of work and technical compliance documentation
- Conduct risk-based audits manage corrective actions and support authorised and competent persons
- Support technical incidents horizon scanning and continuous improvement across the estate
