Requirements
- Demonstrable AE/AP knowledge with operation and maintenance experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of technical safety and risk management legislation and ISO standards
- Working knowledge of ISO9001 and ISO45001 with strong HSE compliance
- Ability to interpret and provide authoritative advice on technical management issues
- Experience advising businesses on good practice technical management
- Strong collaboration skills with internal external customers regulators and suppliers
- Strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels
- Proficient in Word Excel Project PowerPoint Smartsheets and Visio
- HND level qualification in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience
- HV/LV AP and AE qualifications
- Recognised safety qualification or willingness to obtain
- Hold a valid UK Driving Licence

Day to day
- Provide expert technical assurance support across people policy and process pillars
- Develop deliver and audit Safe Systems of Work and compliance documentation
- Conduct risk-based technical audits identify corrective actions and improve technical assurance
- Support Authorised Persons and Competent Persons with mentoring assessment and resilience risk mitigation
- Produce technical publications communication plans and incident support across the estate
