Who you are
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship
- Demonstrated experience in maintenance or commissioning
- Skilled in fault finding across multiple PLC types and manufacturers
- Able to make minor modifications to PLC code and systems
- Experienced in backing up PLC and HMI software applications
- Strong communication skills and able to work under pressure
Desirables
- Familiar with EICA specifications
- Cybersecurity principles understanding
- Expertise in general LV electrical specification
- Proficiency in Instrumentation Equipment specification
What the job involves
- Operate a variety of PLC/PC software to diagnose automation faults
- Connect and diagnose issues remotely
- Identify engineering scope changes and manage change control
- Survey automation systems and provide risk assessment reports
- Communicate with clients to enhance productivity and safety
- Comply with all UK safety rules and create effective RAMS
