We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. This role focuses on enhancing cloud security, specializing in data loss prevention and key management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure cloud security and a strong understanding of data protection and encryption methods. This is a 1-year project with opportunities for remote work, although local candidates are preferred.

Key Responsibilities:Remediate cloud security findings from audits.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security solutions and processes.Focus on data protection, encryption, and key management in Azure.Develop and establish standards and policies for key management.Work with engineering teams to implement security solutions.Make policy recommendations and establish implementation rules for cloud security.
Required Certifications/Education:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred)Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or similar (preferred)
Additional Requirements:Hands-on experience in cloud implementations, particularly in Azure.Broad understanding of cloud services with a focus on security controls in Azure environments.Infrastructure experience emphasized over application security testing (DAST/SAST).Familiarity with data security regulations like GDPR.Ability to effectively answer technical questions and demonstrate real-world cloud experience.
