Remote Backend/API Engineer Job in United States Stripe

Who you are

• 5+ years of experience in data modeling API design distributed systems and data pipeline development
• Design systems that are elegant abstractions over complex financial patterns
• Work with production systems and successful project completion
• Think about systems services platforms and write high quality code
• Experience with Java Scala Ruby or general engineering skill in coding
• Collaborative environment with diverse stakeholders and subject matter experts

What the job involves

• Design and build platforms, tooling, and system solutions that are configurable and scalable around the globe
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company including engineering, product, finance, data science, sales and operations
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• You will work on systems critical to Stripe’s operation, handling large-scale production services and data pipelines
