• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable, and performant services and systems
• Collaborate with other engineers across Stripe, as well as stakeholders across product, design, legal, and operations
• Build easy to use systems that enable safe migrations of data
• Make effective tradeoffs considering business priorities, user experience, and sustainable technical foundation
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
