Bachelor’s degree in Power Electronics Electrical Engineering Power Systems or related field
Master’s degree in Power Electronics or Electrical Engineering is a plus
7 to 10+ years of engineering background in utility-scale electrical power systems or plant automation
Minimum 5+ years of power electronic design experience
Minimum 2+ years of BESS electrical design and integration with power electronics
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
Mandarin language ability is a plus
Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%
Knowledge of UL IEEE IEC CEI and other technical requirements
Ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate results
Ability to review contracts and technical requirements
Knowledge of electrical design software such as Matlab Simulink Simscape ETAP and AutoCAD
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Sound business judgement
Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively
Experience with Agile development methods
Track record managing technical products with dispersed global teams
Ability to use data and statistical analysis to inform decisions
Competency in Microsoft Office applications
Enthusiasm for the renewable energy industry

Collaborate with product teams to meet customer requirements and technical standards while balancing cost and cycle time
Lead the electrical design review and development of North American energy storage solutions from concept through testing certification and mass production
Create budgets schedules resources documentation trainings and competitive analyses to improve product performance and market differentiation
