Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
3-5+ years of experience in busbar product development
Experience with Rigid, Flexible, Hot Laminated, Insert-molding, and Assembly busbars
Interact with customers and provide technical recommendations
Knowledge of server, rail transit, wind power, solar power, electric vehicle industry standards
Knowledge of sheet metal, injection molding, welding, plating
Familiarity with safety standards for busbars and connectors
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Familiar with busbar test specifications
Good knowledge of busbar quality control
Skilled in 3D design software such as Creo or SolidWorks
Proficiency in CAE simulation (Ansys) is a plus
Must communicate in English

Day to day

Responsible for the Busbar product design and development
Fully understand customer application and busbar product requirements
Design or optimize customer design for busbar products, and create 3D and 2D drawings
Communicate with customers on DFM & DFA for busbar products
Support testing (electrical & mechanical) with QA team
Ensure prototype production is followed and qualified products are delivered on time
