Requirements

  • Licensed Property and Casualty Producer with preferred industry designations such as CIC CPCU or P and C License
  • 2+ years of sales or distribution experience within the P and C insurance industry preferably in small commercial
  • Proven capability in virtual account management business development and account management including multitasking prioritization deadline management and teamwork
  • Ability to work independently and structure work proactively to solve problems
  • Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to stay informed about market trends competitive activities and regulatory changes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software and in-house platforms
  • Excellent prospecting and networking skills
  • Highly organized self-motivated with attention to detail and operational focus
  • Ability to assert discretion and professionalism with confidential information
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required

Day to day

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market penetration through independent agents brokers and distribution partners
  • Manage new partner acquisition and partner management focused on achieving KPIs such as new and total written premium new agency appointments and visibility
  • Generate opportunities to acquire new business and re-engage dormant agencies through proactive business development activities
  • Source and launch new partnerships with independent agents and brokers
  • Onboard new organic agency partnerships and execute a tactical sales plan in collaboration with the Regional BDM
  • Maintain regular high-quality proactive agency visits to key staff and agency leadership
  • Document and track sales activities within the CRM platform
  • Lead onboarding engagement and product-specific webinars for regional agencies
  • Manage account operations and collaborate with various teams to influence the product and go-to-market roadmap
  • Act as a brand champion and trusted advisor among agents and professionals
