- Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate
- 3+ years business immigration experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel
- Superior writing/editing/proof-reading skills for complex support letters
- Excellent communication, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong client service skills
- Ability to work independently and accomplish objectives with minimum supervision
- Must be a team player
- Ability to effectively prioritize cases, caseload and other assigned tasks
Desirables
- Adobe experience
- Knowledge of Tracker IMS
What the job involves
- Work closely with attorneys to support our busy and dynamic business immigration practice
- Extensive case management responsibilities for high volume of cases
- Preparing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions and applications from initiation through filing
- Communicating with client contacts primarily by email and drafting letters to clients and government agencies as needed
- Partnering with attorneys to ensure that all cases are managed within an appropriate timeframe
- Utilizing document and data management systems to prepare, monitor, and record all aspects of client casework
- Researching information regarding company or industry profiles, current wages, processing procedures, standard processing times
