Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience as a data scientist or BI Developer
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
  • Background in data warehouse design and data mining
  • In-depth understanding of database management systems, OLAP and ETL framework
  • Familiarity with BI technologies
  • Knowledge of SQL queries, SSRS and SSIS
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other RDMS
  • Experience with AWS a plus
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

Day to day

  • Translating business needs into technical specifications and building BI solutions accordingly
  • Designing and deploying reporting tools, maintaining data analytics platforms, and creating databases to store data
  • Troubleshooting, improving existing BI systems, and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of data-driven solutions
  • Conducting data analysis, developing visualizations and reports, and collaborating with teams to integrate systems
  • Developing SQL queries to be used within application code and for operational tasks
  • Communicating with internal and external customers during analysis and development phases, collaborating on feature and product direction
