Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Finance, Business Management, Organizational Development, Computer Science or related field AND 4+ years’ experience in Operations, Process Design, Product Management, Program/Project Management, Strategy Consulting OR equivalent experience.
  • Proven ability to thrive and drive clarity in ambiguous situations, with adaptability and growth mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability as a project manager who can prioritize multiple activities to deliver on project scope and schedule.
  • Structured thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Prior consulting experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Prior experience working across engineering, business planning, and operations teams (or similar) to clearly communicate improvement ideas and significant business impact, and obtain buy-in to improvement opportunities.

What the job involves

  • Identify opportunities for improvement in product, packaging, and promotion launch processes and tools to help Microsoft launch more, faster, better
  • Capture and analyze relevant data to clearly quantify and communicate the impact of workstreams to enable teams to prioritize accordingly
  • Work across engineering, business planning, and operations executive teams to clearly communicate improvement ideas and significant business impact, and obtain buy-in
  • Drive the building and operationalization of improvement initiatives through pragmatic implementation planning and thoughtful stakeholder engagement
  • Project manage workstreams to completion with predictability, transparency, and clarity
  • Manage teams of stakeholders from different organizations towards a common goal and timeline
  • Execute change management to land changes and drive adoption
  • Continuously listen and learn to surface additional high-impact workstreams
  • Measure the success of the improvements you make to drive more investment and scale impact
