Who you are

  • Experience building and executing email campaigns in marketing automation platforms, preferably Marketo
  • Developer marketing experience
  • Ability to write effective copy and proofread as part of quality assurance
  • Strong attention to detail and project planning against cross-dependencies
  • Experience with JIRA a plus
  • Track record of working cross-functionally to execute improvements in the customer journey
  • Ability to enhance campaign quality beyond simple execution

What the job involves

  • Deploying communications to the DigitalOcean customer base, including product announcements, event and content promotions, newsletters, and account notifications
  • Create and adhere to a campaign operations checklist with quality assurance checks before each campaign deployment
  • Work with channel and product owners to execute communications enabling customers to succeed
  • Ensure our marketing database stays up-to-date with internal requirements and complies with regulations, such as GDPR
  • Create reporting frameworks to measure campaign success, close the loop with stakeholders, and offer improvement ideas
