Who you are

  • Degree or HND in Marine Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years experience in marine engineering
  • Experience with autonomous or survey vessels
  • Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
  • Experience with Volvo Penta IPS power systems
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues
  • Valid marine engineering certifications and licenses
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work in challenging environments
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

What the job involves

  • Oversee operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of autonomous surface vessels, ensuring peak performance and reliability in challenging marine environments.
  • Maintain, repair, and optimize propulsion, navigation, and other critical vessel systems using your marine engineering expertise.
  • Address technical issues in real-time, ensuring safety and operational continuity.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance project outcomes and drive innovation.
  • Contribute to the development of ASVs by integrating latest technological advancements from R&D teams.
