Requirements
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization’s objectives
- Manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Identify and manage financial risks
- Lead, develop, and support the finance teams across the UK
- Present financial reports and strategies to management and the Executive Committee
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration (ADE) or a related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Fluency in English
- UK financial regulations knowledge
Nice to have
- Experience in the education sector
- Proficiency in another language
- Experience in managing financial operations in an international context
- Strong knowledge of UK financial regulations and (desirable) European financial regulations
- Knowledge of school MIS systems (e.g. iSAMS) and their integration with accounting software (e.g. Sage)
Day to day
- Overseeing the financial operations of the company with a key focus on driving financial performance.
- Engaging in strategic planning and decision-making to guide the organization towards its financial goals.
- Managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
