Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field required
- Master's degree or MBA preferred
- 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience
- 10 years in an executive role within energy or energy infrastructure sectors
- Proven experience developing an organization's technology strategy
- Deep understanding of energy sector and grid modernization
- Experience with energy storage solutions and advanced monitoring and control technologies
- 10 years of experience with decentralized energy systems such as on-site or behind-the-meter projects and microgrids
- Significant experience with power infrastructure for critical facilities such as data centers and industrial manufacturers
- Demonstrated success across fuel cells thermal generation and integrated energy systems is highly preferred
- Familiarity with BESS DER controls data science for forecasting and optimization wholesale power markets asset and fleet control cloud software infrastructure
- Strategic thinker able to translate business objectives into technology strategies
- Exceptional leadership communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience building and leading high-performing technical teams
- Player coach mentality with hands-on capability to deliver results

Day to day
- Define and execute Calibrant Energy's technology vision and strategic direction to support business goals and market needs.
- Evaluate emerging energy technologies and solutions to improve generation, grid reliability, cost savings, and long-term asset performance.
- Lead sourcing, procurement, supplier partnerships, contract negotiations, product development, cybersecurity, and technical risk management across distributed energy portfolios.
