Requirements

  • Associates or Technical Degree in Computer Aided Drafting/Design or similar field
  • 10+ years of experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D
  • Flexibility to perform design, drafting and meet stringent deadlines
  • Ability to plan & manage time on multiple projects
  • Team-oriented, highly motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work well with minimal direction
  • Strong understanding of CAD standards, features, and annotation styles
  • Communicate effectively with project team members

Nice to have

  • Oil & Gas or renewable energy industry experience
  • MicroStation experience
  • Experience processing survey data
  • Experience processing lidar scan data and point clouds
  • Industrial mechanical piping experience

Day to day

  • Work with the Energy & Utilities team in drafting, design, permitting, and construction administration of industrial projects
  • Prepare topographic, civil alignment/profile, and utility drawings
  • Prepare civil, facility, and process piping drawings and easement exhibits with guidance from a licensed surveyor
