Requirements

  • At least 1-2 years PQE
  • Qualified solicitor of England and Wales with a current practising certificate or eligibility to obtain one
  • Strong foundation in civil litigation with experience in litigation dispute resolution and court procedure
  • Experience in property-related disputes is advantageous
  • Familiarity with Family Law matters where they intersect with civil proceedings is beneficial
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently and prioritise deadlines in a remote setting
  • Excellent legal drafting analytical and research skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High professionalism ethical judgment and commitment to client care
  • Proficiency with legal case management systems digital document management and remote collaboration tools

Day to day

  • Manage a varied caseload of civil disputes including debt recovery landlord and tenant matters and contract disputes
  • Advise clients on legal rights options and litigation strategy while delivering clear timely and cost-conscious guidance
  • Draft and review pleadings correspondence settlement agreements and case materials and prepare matters for hearings trials and negotiations
  • Conduct legal research manage deadlines liaise with counsel courts and third parties and maintain accurate records in a remote working environment
