Claims Auditor 6 months Fully remoteRate: Umbrella pay is £372.55
OverviewThis role will monitor the quality and efficiency of the Claims processes for our client which includes Life including Group and Individual Claims Assessors. As processes and procedures are constantly evolving and changing, the jobholder must have an open and enquiring mind and be prepared to contribute and develop new ideas and processes.
ResponsibilitiesTo audit the Group and Individual claims process using agreed procedures and within set timescales. Mitigate risk where possible.Report to Operational and Senior Management in addition to Reinsurers.Feedback results of audit to support the development of claims philosophy and procedures.Provide coaching, support and advice to CS Team Leaders and claims assessors based on the results of the audit. This may be either on an ad-hoc or more formal basis depending on the individual requirements.Reinsurer Audits – Supporting Risk and Audit Manager with discussions on cases over phone/email and in face to face meetings.Investigate Claims Risk Incidents, produce reports, and take agreed actions in line with Company Procedures using JIRA as an audit trail. Liaise with Reinsurers.Assess Life, Critical Illness, TPD, TD, Income Protection and WOP when required within an agreed level of authority.Work closely with other areas with the client to develop a thorough understanding of the business and contribute to "best practice" and doing what is right for our customers.
Knowledge & Experience:Is a subject matter expert in the field of Life, Critical Illness and Income Protection claims and demonstrates competence in both the breadth and depth of their technical knowledge and expertise.Substantial experience of assessing complex claims across all product lines.Experience of guiding and supporting others in the field of claims.
