Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or 4 years relevant education and/or experience
- 6 years relevant work experience handling complex liability complex first party claims or progressive complex litigation
- 2 years customer contact experience
- Claims adjusters license in assigned state or ability to obtain within 3 months
- Advanced knowledge of negotiation techniques and customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of P&C policies and state laws
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance related to claims and claims litigation
- Experience handling large losses auto property or commercial
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word Excel and PowerPoint

Day to day
- Manage complex auto and property litigation in line with state laws and regulations
- Develop defense and settlement strategies while evaluating claims negotiating outcomes and coordinating with defense counsel
- Provide high-touch member service through proactive communication empathy and clear expectations
- Represent the company in mediations case conferences and trials while documenting budgets decisions and litigation plans
- Review legal fees direct vendors and support risk control training and special projects
