  • 6 years relevant work experience handling complex liability complex first party claims or progressive complex litigation
  • 2 years customer contact experience
  • Claims adjusters license in assigned state or ability to obtain within 3 months
  • Advanced knowledge of negotiation techniques and customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of P&C policies and state laws
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory compliance related to claims and claims litigation
  • Experience handling large losses auto property or commercial
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Word Excel and PowerPoint

Day to day

  • Manage complex auto and property litigation in line with state laws and regulations
  • Develop defense and settlement strategies while evaluating claims negotiating outcomes and coordinating with defense counsel
  • Provide high-touch member service through proactive communication empathy and clear expectations
  • Represent the company in mediations case conferences and trials while documenting budgets decisions and litigation plans
  • Review legal fees direct vendors and support risk control training and special projects
