Remote Cloud/DevOps System Architect Job in Baltimore, MD Syntricate Technologies

Who you are

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in support Azure services.
• Proficient in production software development processes, including release management, builds, and version control.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft/Linux Azure containers and their theory of operation.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Active Directory in a production environment.
• Good appreciation of information security concepts such as segregation, threat surfaces, and vulnerability management.
• Demonstrated ability to be a team player and leader with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Support on-call rotation.
• Organizational abilities and proven multitasking skills.
• Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer) would be a plus.

What the job involves

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of applications.
• Configure and manage UNIX and Windows Servers, troubleshoot, maintain integrity of and configure network components.
• Administer and maintain Azure Cloud platforms and Azure DevOps Deployments.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline the integration and deployment processes.
• Conduct regular system upgrades, patches, and backups in adherence to security best practices.
