Remote Cloud Platform Operations Support Specialist Job in Reading, UK CrowdStrike

Who you are

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related discipline
• 5+ years of IT deployments experience
• Cloud platform expertise and certifications for AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Knowledge of CSPM
• Linux administration expertise and CLI usage
• Scripting with Bash and/or Python
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Broad experience in cloud, computer, network systems security
• Exceptional problem-solving skills
• Results driven, self-starter
• Excellent time management and ability to lead multiple customer engagements.

Desirables

• Experience in AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI
• Experience with EKS, AKS, GKE, ECS, OpenShift, Docker
• Knowledge of ECR, GCR, ACR, JFROG Artifactory, Docker Hub, Red Hat OpenShift
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Helm
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Python, Bash, Batch
• Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory

What the job involves

• Responsible for planning, deployment, operational support of CrowdStrike Falcon Cloud Security platform and apps
• Handle customer engagement, planning, installation, optimization and follow-up support for cloud modules like CWP, CSPM, ASPM
• Provide technical expertise in implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, script modification, Falcon sensor deployment, and customer IT team collaboration
• Guide and mentor Platform Operations team, conduct training on cloud platform best practices
• Support Incident Response, Compromise Assessment, integrate CrowdStrike tools and facilitate cross-functional team collaboration
