Requirements

  • Experience with eMASS
  • Experience supporting ATO processes artifact development security control implementation and POA&M management
  • Experience leading and managing cyber teams
  • Experience with client management and engagement
  • Knowledge of RMF and NIST 800-53 Rev. 4
  • Ability to facilitate meetings
  • Ability to analyze authorization documents and identify gaps
  • Ability to coordinate with system team stakeholders and follow SOPs
  • Ability to work independently and in teams
  • Ability to work core business hours 8 AM to 5 PM EST Monday through Friday
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must be based in the U.S.

Day to day

  • Support system owners in creating ATO packages and ensuring artifacts meet VA authorization requirements
  • Map security artifacts to NIST 800-53 controls and assist with Assessment Procedures testing evaluation and control implementation statements
  • Guide system teams through RMF and eMASS workflows while reviewing updating and managing POA&Ms and authorization documents
