Remote Cloud Security Engineer Job in UK XM

Who you are

• BSc/MSc in Information Security or related field
• Minimum 1 year working experience in Information Security with focus in Cloud Security
• Deep technical knowledge of AWS
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud (advantage)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like IAM, VPC, S3, EC2, RDS, ELB, CloudTrail, etc.
• Clear understanding of current threats to Cloud infrastructure
• Experience in DevSecOps methodologies (plus)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform (plus)
• Expertise in container security (plus)
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies

What the job involves

• Ensure the information security of our business
• Design and build resilient and secure Cloud environments
• Develop and assess Cloud security solutions
• Conduct assessments and make recommendations for appropriate controls
• Monitor/analyze logs and perform vulnerability assessments
• Shape security policies, procedures, and standards for Cloud environments
• Create security reports for Cloud-based applications and infrastructure
• Implement and test network and security Disaster Recovery procedures
• Monitor use of sensitive data and regulate access
• Ensure confidentiality and integrity of data during transmission, storage, and processing
• Review security procedure violations and address them
• Provide support for network and security related issues to end users
