Remote Cloud Security Engineer Job in UK XM

Who you are

• Possess a BSc/MSc in Information Security or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Cloud Security focusing on AWS.
• Expertise in Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud is advantageous.
• Experience with AWS services like IAM Organizations SSO VPC etc.
• Clear understanding of current cloud infrastructure threats and advanced security measures.
• Experience in DevSecOps methodologies and Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform is a plus.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and integrate well within a team.
• Quick learner of new technologies.

What the job involves

• Design and build secure cloud infrastructures to resist security threats.
• Develop and assess cloud security solutions to safeguard systems databases and networks.
• Conduct security assessments and make recommendations on security controls.
• Monitor analyze logs and perform vulnerability assessments for security insights.
• Participate in shaping security policies and standards for cloud environments.
• Create security reports for technical and managerial levels and implement disaster recovery procedures.
• Monitor regulate sensitive data access and ensure data confidentiality and integrity.
