Who you are

• Must be a U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-15 years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience, focusing on AWS or Azure Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience and certifications with major cloud platforms such as AWS and /or Azure
• Demonstrated expertise in cloud-native services, serverless computing, microservices architectures, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2
• Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, CDNs, VPNs, and load balancing
• Experience integrating DevOps practices and setting up continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
• Ability to dissect complex technical challenges and devise effective, innovative solutions
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for explaining intricate concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• An understanding of business operations and the ability to align architectural decisions with business objectives and profitability
• Commitment to staying updated with emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices related to cloud computing
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specified requirements
• Proven track record of collaborating with diverse internal and external teams to drive project success

Desirables

• Cloud certification(s) from AWS or Azure Cloud Platform
• Experience with IaC: Terraform, AWS CDK, Cloudformation
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes: Jenkins, GitLab, Circle CI
• Proficiency in designing and implementing microservice architectures, API gateways, and RESTful API integrations
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools: NewRelic, DataDog, Grafana
• Deep understanding of cloud network configurations, including VPC, CDN, VPN, Direct Connect, and load balancing
• Knowledge of cloud security tools, best practices, and compliance standards like IAM, encryption, security groups
