Who you are

• Must be a U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-15 years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience, focusing on AWS or Azure Cloud Platform
• Hands-on experience and certifications with major cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
• Expertise in cloud-native services, serverless computing, microservices architectures, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2
• Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, CDNs, VPNs, and load balancing
• Experience integrating DevOps practices and setting up CI/CD pipelines
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for explaining intricate concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Commitment to staying updated with emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specified requirements
• Proven track record of collaborating with diverse internal and external teams to drive project success.

Desirables

• Cloud certification(s) from AWS or Azure Cloud Platform
• Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
• Proficiency in designing and implementing microservice architectures, API gateways, and RESTful API integrations
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools
• Deep understanding of cloud network configurations
• Knowledge of cloud security tools, best practices, and compliance standards
• Solid knowledge of a scripting language for automating tasks
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools
• Good foundation in Linux/Unix fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with cloud data integration tools
• Skills in cloud resource optimization and cost management
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience in government consulting preferred
• Experience in management consulting preferred, client-facing role a plus

What the job involves

• You will lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of modern software development and cloud architectures that address our customer’s business requirements
• Liaise between business units and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with customer’s business goals while integrating with existing systems and technologies
• Hands-on in every project lifecycle stage, from initial brainstorming sessions to the final stages of deployment and post-deployment reviews.
