Who you are
Must be a U.S Citizen or Green Card Holder
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5-15 years of cloud infrastructure engineering experience, focusing on AWS or Azure Cloud Platform
Hands-on experience and certifications with major cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure
Expertise in cloud-native services, serverless computing, microservices architectures, and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices
Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2
Strong knowledge and understanding of cloud networking concepts, including VPCs, CDNs, VPNs, and load balancing
Experience integrating DevOps practices and setting up CI/CD pipelines
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for explaining intricate concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Commitment to staying updated with emerging technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to specified requirements
Proven track record of collaborating with diverse internal and external teams to drive project success.
Desirables
Cloud certification(s) from AWS or Azure Cloud Platform
Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, CloudFormation
Experience with CI/CD tools and processes
Proficiency in designing and implementing microservice architectures, API gateways, and RESTful API integrations
Experience with monitoring and logging tools
Deep understanding of cloud network configurations
Knowledge of cloud security tools, best practices, and compliance standards
Solid knowledge of a scripting language for automating tasks
Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools
Good foundation in Linux/Unix fundamentals
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
Experience with cloud data integration tools
Skills in cloud resource optimization and cost management
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience in government consulting preferred
Experience in management consulting preferred, client-facing role a plus
What the job involves
You will lead the conceptualization, design, and implementation of modern software development and cloud architectures that address our customer’s business requirements
Liaise between business units and technical teams, ensuring solutions align with customer’s business goals while integrating with existing systems and technologies
Hands-on in every project lifecycle stage, from initial brainstorming sessions to the final stages of deployment and post-deployment reviews.
