  • Demonstrated experience with SaaS sales.
  • Pitching value to development teams, preferably DevOps.
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated, driven, and results oriented.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
  • Experience with Git, Software Development Tools, or Application Lifecycle Management preferred.
  • Ability to travel regularly and comply with company travel policy.

What the job involves

  • Managing prospective and existing customers within mid-market space, targeting companies with 100 to 1,999 employees.
  • Advising on projects and promoting GitLab value.
  • Building pipelines, prospecting, closing new business, and avoiding churn.
  • Collaboration with business development, sales management, and partner ecosystem.
  • Documenting buying criteria and contributing to sales handbook improvements.
  • Driving attendance to events and contributing to root cause analyses.
