Minimum level of technical training (e.g., City and Guilds/NVQ/BTEC/Degree)
Strong working background in mechanical and electrical maintenance
Electronic equipment testing, fault finding, exposure to SCADA and PLCs
Ability to read schematic diagrams
High level of physical fitness
Full driving licence
PC literate

Worked on automated production lines
Experience with Alfa Laval core equipment
Background in waste water, food and brewery, food processing plants, power stations, factory automation, marine or military
What the job involves
Our team of Field Service Engineers are on the front line of customer support, carrying out servicing, maintenance and commissioning of Alfa Laval equipment and associated products
You will be home based attending customer sites across the UK and Ireland as required
Working on high speed rotating equipment providing field service support, trouble shooting and training at customer locations on the mechanical, electrical, and electronic components of Decanters ensuring reliable operation, optimum performance and efficiency
